A new automotive marvel has emerged from the workshops of Automobili Mignatta, an Italian startup known for its limited-edition vehicles. The AM Rina, inspired by the iconic speedsters of the 1960s, offers a nostalgic yet modern take on open-top driving. Designed with a focus on raw performance and classic aesthetics, this vehicle combines cutting-edge engineering with timeless design elements. This week, Automobili Mignatta unveiled the finished version of the Rina, which had previously been teased earlier this year. At its heart lies a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter all-aluminum V8 engine, believed to be derived from Ford's renowned 'Coyote' unit found in the Mustang. While exact power figures remain undisclosed, the engine boasts upgraded intake and exhaust systems, ensuring a rich and resonant sound. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox positioned in a transaxle configuration, enhancing handling and balance.
